At Wiggle Waggles, your puppy’s introduction to grooming is built around education, play, praise and gentle desensitisation, creating positive early experiences that support confidence for life. You’re invited to share the journey too — joining us behind the scenes at Wiggle-Waggles, spending time in the salon with your pup, and learning what puppy grooming really looks like in a calm, welcoming environment.

Making Dog Grooming Enjoyable Again
The Wiggle-Waggles Anxious Dog Programme support anxious dogs with a science-led approach to relax dog's nervous systems, which de-escalates their behaviour as they learn to trust and have confidence they are emotionally and physically safe.
The Programme begins in our calm living-room designed to feel homely rather than like a traditional grooming salon where dog's can be triggered by difficult memories. You stay with your dog so your dog feels supported and safe and we begin to rebuild your dog's trust and confidence in grooming using science-based methods, with gradual desensitisation and positive reinforcement, and counter and operant-conditioning. We can also use our 121 groom room attached to our living room.
The Wiggle-Waggles Anxious Dog Programme results in dog's enjoying grooming and every single anxious dog without exception comes back to Wiggle-Waggles wagging their tail and pleased to be here.

Rosie was so patient and calm, even giving Milo a much-needed toilet break during his groom to make sure he stayed comfortable and relaxed. Rosie used positive reinforcement to make him feel safe every step of the way. When the groom was over, he even had a walk round the shop. Before, when he has been to the groomers, he can’t wait to get out. Even when he got home from those other places, he was still a bit anxious. But after seeing Rosie, he was so chilled. It is so nice to see so much care! Even my husband was completely surprised by how good Milo looked when he got home. Milo came out looking amazing and completely stress-free. "What a heartwarming and happy experience Fabio and us his parents/guardians had yesterday. Fabio has had lots of health issues and lots to worry him in his 4 years. He has a neurological condition that has caused him great anxiety around being groomed.
