With new dogs we start with a pressure free meet & greet consult with you and your dog to build a bond of trust with your dog through positive interaction with a sit down chat in our Doggy Living Room with an enrichment experience for your dog with snuffle mats, toys & treats or even a walk across to Horton Country Park

Our expert groomers are skilled in canine communication. In our specially designed Living Room we provide an enjoyable & enriching activity in order to:

• Create a positive association with the Salon & calm your dog's nerves or excitement
• Observe your dog's behavior, body language & emotions
• Perform gentle hands-on evaluation
• Chat through your dog's personality & comfort level 
• Check out the type of coat your dog has & you can decide with reference to the Look Book & grooming schedule what style haircut suits you both; and 
• Create a personalised grooming plan. 

 We believe in working at your dog's pace:

• Short breaks between grooming stages and as and when needed
• Preventing over stimulation 

 We've turned bath time into a relaxing experience & use a gentle introduction to water & suds. 

 Our drying techniques are designed for maximum comfort:

• Gradual introduction to dryers
• Use of quiet, low-stress equipment
• Air drying for sensitive pups
• Separate drying room to minimise the noise in the salon

 We take a gentle approach to clipping and scizzoring:

• Private grooming areas with minimal distractions 
• Gradual desensitization to clippers & scissors
• Short sessions with plenty of breaks
• Positive reinforcement throughout

 We end each session on a positive note:

• Supervised play sessions with furry friends or an enriched ACE session
• Extra cuddles & treats
